Wrap vs Panel Labels
Wrap labels give maximum print area on a tiny cylinder and look seamless — the standard choice for premium vials. Allow a 3mm self-overlap so the ends meet cleanly. Panel (spot) labels leave glass visible for a clinical, transparent look and are easier to apply by hand on very small diameters.
Why Small Diameters Need a Pre-Press Check
On a 16mm cylinder the artwork curves significantly around the bottle. Typography near the label edges visually compresses, and barcodes can lose scannability. Always send us your vial diameter — we distort-compensate the artwork on the free proof.
Freeze-Resistant Adhesives & the Cold Chain
The single biggest cause of label failure on peptide vials is the wrong adhesive. A standard permanent adhesive is formulated for room temperature: below roughly 5°C it becomes glassy, loses tack, and simply pops off the curved glass wall — often while the vial is still in the freezer box.
